The ladies of the Tri-County (AL) Chapter of The Links, Inc. began their 2012-2013 program year in "Sisterly Style" on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at the first official business meeting led by the newly elected officers.  Friendship and Service are the two main pillars of The Links, Incorporated and Tri-County members love serving the community and fostering sisterhood.

The business meeting hostesses, Marshell Jackson and Brenda Carter Taylor invited members to a "Tea Party with Hats and Gloves."  The idea for the tea party served also as a reward and thanks to the entire membership for another successful year servicing youth and the tri-county areas.  The meeting would also be the last held just before the summer break.

Members were asked to wear their favorite hat and gloves as they enjoyed tea and scones prior to the meeting.  Finger sandwiches, fruit, cheese, lemon aid and hot tea was served during the allotted fellowship time where members filled the room with laughter and great conversation.
